I liked the first Bigs a lot. This is a lot more of the same so far. What I enjoyed most about the first one was the career mode, which was essentially a baseball RPG. Based on how you did in the games, you would earn experience points to spend on stats. Of course this caused you to concentrate just on your player, waiting for him to be up at bat before hitting the big grand slams, but I still liked it. The new one you only increase your abilities through the mini games and challenges. So game performance means nothing, just your skill in mini games.
It still plays a great game of arcade baseball, but the career mode isn't drawing me in yet.
